Adrian Newey kan zich beter bezig houden met de ontwikkeling van een Formule 1-bolide, zo bleek wel toen hij plaats nam in de simulator van Red Bull Racing, waar normaal mannen als Max Verstappen en Daniel Ricciardo plaats nemen. Newey had de bolide niet helemaal onder controle.
