Het nieuwe Grand Prix-circuit in het Amerikaanse Austin is op tijd klaar voor de deadline van juni 2012, zo heeft de organisatie laten weten. Momenteel wordt er hard gewerkt op de plek waar het circuit moet komen, al lijkt de bouwput in de verste verte niet op een F1-circuit. Toch komt het allemaal goed, zo vertelt Jeff Hahn.

“We hebben tot nu toe alle doelen nog gehaald”, aldus Hahn tegenover KVUE. “De planning is agressief. We willen het circuit openen in juni 2012. Dat is niet ongebruikelijk, veel circuits zijn gebouwd in een zelfde tijdsbestek.”
