De Grote Prijs Formule 1 van Groot-Brittannië werd verreden onder wisselende omstandigheden. Na een start achter de Safety-car reden de F1-piloten over een opdrogende piste. Dit zorgde voor vele duels en spectaculaire beelden. Op Twitter stond het volgende te lezen over de race in Silverstone, waarin Max Verstappen uiteindelijk knap tweede werd achter winnaar Lewis Hamilton.
