MELBOURNE – De Grand Prix van Australië staat altijd garant voor spektakel. Op het semi-stratencircuit van Melbourne hebben in de loop der jaren verschillende flinke startcrashes plaatsgevonden. Zo ook in 2002, toen Williams F1-coureur Ralf Schumacher het luchtruim verkoos boven het circuit en zichzelf lanceerde.
