Dakar 2020 in Saudi Arabia: stage 4 from Neom to Al-`Ula + ROUTE

Neom - The fourth stage of the Dakar 2020 in Saudi Arabia will consist of sand and stones. The rally is considered the toughest in the world. No less than 342 vehicles are at the start of the 42nd Dakar, with a total of 541 participants. Divided into 114 motorcycles, 23 quads, 83 cars, 45 SSVs and 46 trucks. Again, many Dutch participants are competing in the various classes of motorcycles, cars, SSV and trucks in the Dakar 2020 edition, including Team de Rooy, Martin van den Brink, Bernhard ten Brinke, Erik van Loon, Tim en Tom Coronel and many more orange lions and one lioness in the motorcycle category. In total, the various Dutch teams will compete to bring the monster rally to a successful conclusion.

The fourth stage of the Dakar 2020 is at least as tricky as the three previous rides. The riders must travel over sand and stones from Neom to Al-`Ula over a distance of 672 km and it will certainly not be easy. The special stage covers 453 kilometers. The liaison route also counts for another 219 kilometers. Not only speed but also precise navigation is required on the route which will pass, among other things, along the historic Nabatean temple.
