Alexander Wurz naar Peugeot

LE CASTELLET - Oud-F1-coureur Alexander Würz test vandaag op het Franse Le Castellet de nieuwe versie van de Peugeot 908 Hdi FAP.

Eerder kondigde de Oostenrijker al aan graag nog eens Le Mans te winnen, maar alleen wanneer hij een fabrieksauto tot zijn beschikking zou krijgen. Om de komst van Wurz mogelijk te maken, zal waarschijnlijk Jacques Villeneuve aan de kant worden geschoven.

Wurz won de prestigieuze race al eerder in 1996 met een TWR-Porsche.
