FOTO'S: Porsche stuurt twee 911 turbo's op wereldtournee
Bij de aftrap van het seizoen 2022 komend weekeinde in Sebring (VS) worden de nieuwe safety cars op basis van de Porsche 911 Turbo S voor het eerst ingezet. De 478 kW (650 pk) sterke 911's sprinten in 2,7 seconden van nul naar 100 km/u en halen een topsnelheid van 330 km/u. Voor het gebruik als safety car in het FIA WEC is de sportwagen uit Weissach uitgerust met data- en transmissietechnologie, een lichtsignaalsysteem en twee extra monitoren in de cockpit.
