Nyck de Vries blijft test- en reservecoureur bij Toyota: "De toekomst van het endurance racen is mooi"
In al het geweld van de presentatie van de nieuwe Toyota GZ010 Hybrid (FOTO'S), laat Toyota ook weten dat Nyck de Vries een mooie rol krijgt bij het Japanse merk. De voor Mercedes in de Formule E actieve coureur, neemt de taak van reserve- en testcoureur op zich bij het Japanse team. “Ik ben blij om door te gaan met mijn integratie en rol als test- en reservecoureur van Toyota Gazoo Racing in het nieuwe tijdperk van de Hypercars”, aldus De Vries op social media. “De toekomst van het endurance racen is mooi. Ik kijk er naar uit om dit speciale avontuur met ze te delen.”
