Baanbrekend! Vrouwen in Saudi-Arabië mogen eindelijk autorijden, deze Arabische schone gelijk in een F1 op Paul Ricard
Saudi Arabië heeft het verbod voor vrouwen om een auto te mogen besturen officieel opgeheven. Als gevolg hiervan reed Aseel Al-Hamad op het circuit Paul Ricard in Frankrijk in een Renault F1 bolide uit 2012. Bijzonder! Aseel Al Hamad is het eerste vrouwelijke lid van de Saudi Arabian Motorsport Federation wat onder de FIA valt. Een gedenkwaardig moment. De F1 Grand Prix werd gewonnen door Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen finnishte op P3 gevolgd door Kimi Raikonnen.
