Mercedes performs strongly at Sepang
KUALA LUMPUR - Both drivers of the Petronas-Mercedes F1 team believe that the team is in a much better position now in Malaysia than two weeks ago during the season opener in Melbourne. Mercedes finished in the top ten during both free practice sessions today at the Sepang circuit, with Schumacher even third during FP1.
“We have clearly made another step, more like we were in Barcelona during the winter tests,” said the seven-time world champion. “And there will be a bit more tomorrow, so we are reasonably satisfied.”
