Nyck de Vries test gloednieuwe Formula 4-bolide in Spanje
Nyck de Vries heeft op Circuito de Catalunya de gloednieuwe SMP Formule 4 bolide getest voor SMP Racing. De Nederlander testte in Spanje voor het Russische SMP Racing die vanaf volgend jaar samen met RAF, Koiranen Motorsport en AKK-Motorsport een Noord-Europees Formule 4 kampioenschap zullen starten. Het kampioenschap doet daarbij drie landen aan, Finland, Estland en Rusland.
De nieuwe Formule 4 bolide is gebaseerd op de single seater uit het Italiaanse F4 Championship. Zo is de single-seater volledig uit koolstofvezel opgebouwd en voorzien van een monocoque. Achterin ligt een 1.4 turbo motor van Abarth.
