Ook 36-jarige Robert Kubica naar Young Driver Test in Abu Dhabi

Robert Kubica komt deze en volgende weer in actie in een Formule 1-auto. Tijdens de eerste training in aanloop naar de Grand Prix van Abu Dhabi neemt de 36-jarige Pool de Alfa Romeo over van Antonio Giovinazzi. In de week na de laatste race van het seizoen mag Kubica deelnemen aan de Young Driver Test, waar ook de drie jaar oudere Fernando Alonso mag deelnemen. Namens Alfa Romeo komt dan ook Callum Ilott in actie, de nummer twee van het afgelopen Formule 2-seizoen.
