Twitteroverzicht: Volop spektakel op de Hungaroring met Max, Lewis, Nico

Een kwalificatie vol spektakel in Hongarije. Maar liefst drie rode-vlag-situaties verstoorden Q1. Eerder werd Q1 twintig minuten uitgesteld wegens hevige regenval. Hierdoor duurde de eerste kwalificatie ronde maar liefst 54 minuten. Tijdens Q2 was Max Verstappen de snelste, terwijl Lewis Hamilton geluk had, dat hij als tiende eindigde en zich mocht klaarmaken voor Q3. In slotminuten van de laatste kwalificatie sessie spinde Fernando Alonso. Dit zorgde voor een dubbele gele vlag-situatie. Ondanks de neutralisatie verbeterde Nico Rosberg alsnog zijn ronde en ging aan de haal met de pole position. Max Verstappen liet zich terug zakken voor een snelle ronde, maar kwam een tel tekort voor nog een ronde.
