George Russell heeft tegen alle verwachtingen in de Grote Prijs van Belgie op zijn naam geschreven. Door een gewaagde eenstopper hield de Brit zijn teamgenoot Lewis Hamilton achter zich. Ook Oscar Piastri mocht mee naar het podium. Max Verstappen eindigde op de vijfde positie, nadat hij als elfde startte.
