VIDEO: Boegeroep voor Max Verstappen tijdens volkslied en bekeruitreiking
Max Verstappen won zondag zijn 50e overwinning in de Formule 1, maar niet alle aanwezigen in Austin konden daar goed mee omgaan. Waarschijnlijk voornamelijk Mexicaanse fans en wat Amerikaanse fans vonden het nodig om tijdens het Wilhelmus en tijdens de bekeruitreiking te gaan fluiten. Daarbij was meerdere keren Checo, Checo, Checo te horen. Bekijk en beluister het incident in onderstaande video. Het getuigt van weinig respect voor de coureurs en hoort niet thuis in de autosport.
